Serving is the best way to live! On this Sunday, to show love to our community, we are going to help some of our nonprofit partners. You can sign up - either as an individual or with your community group, to serve with:
BBQ Meal to go with Joseph's House:
When: 10:15am – 12:15pm
Where: 181 Western Ave
Who: 5 – 6 volunteers
What: Packing pre-made BBQ and sides into disposable containers.
Other: Outreach van will be picking up meals at noon to deliver around the community.

BBQ Meal with Joseph's House:
When: 11:00am – 12:30pm
Where: 393 N Pearl
Who: 4 volunteers
What: Hosting a BBQ. Set-up (2 folding tables, 5 dishes), plating/serving, clean-up, tear down.
Other: The Joseph’s House site aids about 30 people. We plan to serve the ~15 staff members also. This will give the kitchen staff the afternoon off! Requested to limit the group to a small number of volunteers.

Organizing with RISSE:
When: 10:30am – 1:30pm
Where: RISSE, 240 W. Lawrence
Who – 4 – 6 volunteers
What: Project is to be determined. Will likely be to help with organizing or some sort of maintenance

Meals with IPH:
When: 11:30am – 2:00pm

What: Picking up trash from our building’s neighborhood
Other: Bags, pickers, and gloves will be provided by the City of Albany

Organizing and Painting with Grassroot Givers:
When: 11:00am -1:00pm
Where: Grassroot Givers, 522 Washington Ave
Who: 10-12 Volunteers
What:
Paint an accent wall
Paint a couple of furniture pieces
Transitioning/ sorting winter clothes to spring/summer clothes for donation
Other: Children are welcome to attend and help out with sorting clothing donations.

Cleaning Spaces with the South End Café:
When: 10:45am – 12:45am
Where: Southend Café, 25 Warren St.
Who: 10 – 12 volunteers
What:
We will be cleaning and sprucing up indoor and outdoor spaces.
In the outdoor space, we will be picking up any garbage, raking and sweeping.
In their two indoor spaces, we will be cleaning, windows and window sills, tables in the café, organizing, setting tables, etc.
Other: Their two spaces are 25 Warren St. (where we'll be meeting) and 3 Lincoln Square, which is a short walk from our meeting location, about a block away.
